Summary[edit]

Description
English: The operations report for the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier Valley Forge notes in the July 25, 1950, summary (paragraph 4, lines 7-11) that Navy pilots had instructions from the Army to attack any group of more than eight to 10 people in South Korea. This was one day before the mass killing of South Korean refugees at No Gun Ri began with an air attack. The Pentagon's 2001 No Gun Ri investigative report did not acknowledge this Army policy of indiscriminate attack.
